Amanda Bourne

I am fascinated with the possibilities of animation and the creations which come from our imaginations. Coming up with stories to evoke emptions from people of all backgrounds, Capturing peoples attentions with worlds which were just an idea before and creating what should be impossible. It is all just spell bounding to me. I directed a 3D animated short film called 'Are you there?' in my 3rd year of university which is a story about an invisible Giant attempting to make friends. As they create connections with the woodland creatures and a small girl, they feel more visible (not only mentally but physically) which leads to a magical adventure of friendship and loneliness. This was such a fun experience where I got to develop my story telling skills, 3D modelling, animating and texturing skills. I'm now eager to take these skills out into the industry and capture more minds with animation!
