FF Oliver is a typeface inspired by a series of letterforms found in Falmouth Cemetery. From an archive of letterforms collated by myself and peers, I was inspired to create this modern take on the original oldstyle lettering. With strong Gothic influences, this bold, decorative display font features uppercase and lowercase charecters, a set of numerals and a selection of punctuation marks and special characters.
Peach Pig is the debut collection of poetry by the former young people’s laureate Cecilia Knapp, as she grapples with grief and the detachment young women today feel. Full of Cecilia’s vivacious hope, persistence and direct, deadpan humour, hers is a hugely relatable and bold new voice. Through ambiguous imagery and hand-scratched type his cover references the vulnerability demonstrated in Knapp’s writing, focussing in on her exploration of themes relating to her relationship with her body, with sex, and with shame.
