This design proposal focuses on the educational and traditional aspects of Cornwall. A community centre is a much-needed object in Camborne because there are not many structures for leisure activities. The climbing walls located on the outside and inside, are a direct reference to the mining and provide a pleasant place for many to spend their time together and free of charge. The Town Deal, which is a document for the future improvement of living there, includes a proposal involving a Fibre Park. The Fibre Park is a place where locals can gain and expand their manual skills and use some specific tools and machines. The museum’s aspect is resolved with a large room located on the second floor, whose lighting might be controlled with skylights.
