When studying the inhabitants of Swanpool graveyard, I came across the wonderful Winnifred Freeman. This little known Cornish artist had a fiery independent spirit that was rare in 19th-century women. Her scandalous antics inspired me to write about her. I created a publication of the writing with some of her work. The typeface I used was one I designed myself, using the lettering on the gravestones as a reference.

The publishing company The Little Brown Book Company presented us with a live brief. We were asked to create a book cover for Cecilia Knapp's new poetry collection. I chose this design as the theme of silencing women recurs in the book, and Cecilia is defying that and finding her voice.

I wanted to create a campaign that would make consumers more aware of the negative effects fast fashion has on the planet and push them towards the greener alternative of preloved fashion. These posters were part of a broader campaign by a brand I created named "go" that partners with charity shops to change people's shopping habits.
