When I First Saw the Magnolia in Full Bloom
From the project 'When The Magnolias Bloom', which explores grief in Felicity's family, this image is of the first time seeing the magnolia tree in her late Great Aunt Elaine's Garden after she had passed away, reflecting on her life, and memories shared with family in Elaine's home.
As part of 'When The Magnolias Bloom', this chair has been in Felicity's family for over 150 years, it a piece of her ancestors, passed through generations of people she doesn't know and people she has loved.
