Alfie Marshall

Alfie Marshall is a 21 year old producer and arranger, primarily for fingerstyle acoustic guitar. The showcase will comprise fun, and rhythmic arrangements of some well known popular songs, and a unique blend of catchy spliced vocal chop melodies, and chilled beats under a bed of warm, chill-wave esque electronic production and sound design on his original EP, "Flickers", inspired by the beautiful seascapes and natural wonders that Cornwall has to offer. Comparing his work to that of French producer Petit Biscuit, or German composer Nils Frahm, you can be sure of a relaxed and dreamy experience, with some added familiarity and nostalgia thrown in with some exciting and innovative approaches to some arrangements of songs you may recognise. The perfect way to get some laid back summer vibes!

Tide

This original track "Tide" was inspired by the movement of the ocean, specifically the ebb and flow of the water and the lapping of waves as they meet the sand, and was written with the intention of replicating and emulating that. It is essentially a soft piano lullaby with some added production ear candy thrown in!
