Anoxia is a 2D and mixed media undergraduate thesis film, following the strained relationship of an isolated mother and daughter. Exploring themes of control, dependency and loss through pathetic fallacy and environmental storytelling.

Anoxia Trailer

Anoxia is a 2D student film following a domineering mother's search for her shipwrecked houseboat. In hope of returning to normality she forces her meek daughter deep into troubled waters. The journey forces her to reevaluate herself as a parent and the worth of the houseboat, a monument to their troubled life together. Teaching her that she needs to let both the ruined home, and her daughter go.
