Hi there! My name is Sophie Lamb and my design approach lies within the commercial sector with a focus on brand led interior spaces. Through researching and creating brands I have been able to highlight key values and implement these through the graphics and the interior experience I design.
Focusing on the question of ‘can design help promote a heathy lifestyle’ project health is designed to target the ongoing and increasing issue of obesity.
the space will offer activities across three disciplines which are eat, move, and learn which will help lead the users to healthier lifestyle choices.
it is focused on creating a community of likeminded people who want to better themselves but also educate themselves on the benefits and dangers of a healthy/non healthy lifestyle. The users will have the opportunity to partake in masterclasses led by industry specialists in each of three disciplines.
This visual shows the gridded gym ‘structure’ in action. The gym is designed as one bespoke frame that holds multiple different exercise stations. The gym is wrapped around the outside of the structure, surrounding the kitchen and dining area.
This visual shows the ‘kitchen’ in the space. In this area of the scheme, users will experience cookery lessons with industry specialist. They will source fresh ingredients and work together in a group to create delicious healthy meals together. The users will have a choice of recipes and ingredients to choose from and cook. This is showing the consumers how easy it is to cook healthy.
