I am a professional photographer and filmmaker based in Cornwall with a passion for conservation and the natural world. I recently graduated from Falmouth University where I took a BA(Hons) in Marine & Natural History Photography.
I am a qualified volunteer Marine Mammal Medic with the British Divers Marine Life Rescue, a charity that rescues seals, dolphins and whales. I regularly respond to emergency call-outs to stranded cetaceans and am a trusted member of this first response team of medics.
I am a passionate autism advocate, and use my work to educate, inspire and create empathy.
My journey into photography started when my family gave me a 35mm Canon SLR for my 16th birthday. I was hooked! From this point onwards I have always pursued my dream of becoming a professional photographer.
My work now encompasses moving image and I have made a number of short films including the very popular ‘Sensory World’, which describes what it is like to have a sensory overload, and ‘Seal Rescuers’ which was made in collaboration with British Divers Marine Life Rescue and Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust.
