I have never been fond of talking about myself, however as an upcoming designer I felt it would be important to voice how my interest and viewpoints affect my work. My fascination with design has always been accompanied by my interest in people and unique cultures. I’m intrigued by how aesthetics can change attitudes towards stigmatised people and the objects they utilize. I’m often drawn to subjects that produce strong emotional sensations such as: horror films, pre 2000’s non-fiction anime, contemporary art, technological advancement and science fiction. Up until this point I have spent my time at Falmouth University exploring the tangible and intangible elements of design. As I continue to design and learn, I aspire to find myself in a position where I can be an active partner in improving people’s lives through my career, as well as creating emotional products and experiences.
